Mini Safari in November 2020
Mini Safari im November 2020
We left early in the morning with our bus from Quseir to Hamata. Our group from Cairo was still tired, and we still had time to sleep until the sun rose.
With a short break in between for refreshment, we reached Hamata, where the boat Hadeer with the crew was already waiting for us.
After a short settling in, we were off towards Abu Galawa Soraya and just before reaching the dive site it was finally time to wake up. Under perfect conditions we made our first dive.
Afterwards we continued to one of the most beautiful places in the Red Sea, Shaab Claudio.
Thanks to our guides Ali and Medo, we found our way through the caves, canyons and crevices. In the evening we did a night dive.
Everyone was pretty tired at this time, and it was soon quiet on the boat. Those who stayed awake were rewarded in the moonless night with an incomparable starry sky including shooting stars.
The early risers were also rewarded with one of the great sunrises.
The first dive was in Shaab Maksur, which reminds us of Elphinstone in its shape. On the south plateau we met a small school of tuna.
On the 2nd dive from the north plateau we drifted along the steep wall towards the south. From a distance, we could see a reef shark passing underneath us.
The third dive took us to Malahi, again a rugged reef with canyons surrounded by huge coral walls. At the end we were visited by a curious Napoleon.
The anticipation was great, the journey continued to Sataya. Unfortunately, we did not meet any dolphins on the way, which accompanied the boat.
In the evening, everything was prepared for our oriental BBQ, where we had all kinds of Egyptian and oriental delicacies.
The next morning we went out again very early to snorkel with the dolphins in Sataya and we were lucky, they were in the bay.
Of course, we also explored Sataya underwater before heading to our last dive site in Abu Galawa Kebir.
We thank our guests for 3 exciting days, it was great pleasure with you.
