Welcome to our diving centre at the True Beach Hotel in Marsa Alam.
We will dive with you into the beautiful underwater world of the southern Red Sea. Join us on our beach excursions around Marsa Alam, spend a day on the dive boat, go snorkeling or diving. Whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or as a group, are an experienced diver or just starting out. We will accompany you professionally on your diving adventure.

Let us show you the most beautiful dive sites around Marsa Alam. The dive sites are suitable for all levels of divers, and most of them are also suitable for snorkelers.

Tauchplatz: Grosse Bucht, mit einfachen Einstiegen. Der Tauchplatz fällt leicht ab bis 25 Meter. In den Seegraswiesen ist eine Population von grossen Meeresschildkröten beheimatet. Mit Glück besteht auch die Chance auf Dugongs, Rochen und Delfine. Im nördlichen und südlichen Ende gibt es ein Riff.
Distanz: Etwa 45 min. Marsa Alam entfernt.
Schwierigkeit: Einfach. Sehr gut für Schnorchler geeignet.
Dive site: Large bay, with easy entry points. The dive site slopes gently down to 25 metres. There is a small sea grass meadow in the center. You dive along the reefs to the right and left, alternating between small and large boulders. Possibility of seeing rays, stonefish and Nemo.
Distance: About 10 minutes from the True Beach Hotel.
Difficulty: Easy. Excellent for snorkelers.
Dive site: Large bay, with easy entry points. The dive site slopes gently down to 18 metres. There is a small seagrass meadow in the centre. On the north and south sides you dive along a very colourful reef covered with hard and soft corals. Chances of seeing rays and crocodile fish.
Distance: About 25 minutes from Hotel True Beach.
Difficulty: Easy. Excellent for snorkellers.
Dive site: Large bay, with easy entry points. The dive site slopes gently down to 18 metres. There is a small seagrass meadow in the centre. On the north and south sides you dive along a very colourful reef covered with hard and soft corals. Chances of seeing rays and crocodile fish.
Distance: About 5 minutes from Hotel True Beach.
Difficulty: Easy. Excellent for snorkellers.
Day boat
Spend a day on the boat, do two dives and enjoy an excellent lunch. The dive sites are suitable for all levels of divers, and most are also suitable for snorkelers. The diving tours start in Port Ghalib.

Dive site : Shallow bay with seagrass and
many blocks.
Distance : Around 45 min in south

Difficulty : Easy, perfect for snorkeling
Dive site : Big bay with seagrass.
Starting from the shallow to a depth of
max 25 m, due to the shallow water.

Difficulty : Easy dive site.
Perfect for snorkeling
Dive site: There are several dive sites with beautiful, colourful reefs where there is a lot to discover down to 20 m. There are small caves and canyons, which captivate with their play of light. You can find countless reef fish and with luck also turtles.
Distance: Around 2 hours from Port Ghalib by boat.
Difficulty: Easy dive site, also for snorkeling.
Dive site: In the north there is a fringing reef covered with many hard corals. On the south side there are many overgrown blocks. At the anchorage there is a big mushroom shaped block that starts at 16 m and goes down to 40 meters.
Distance: around 60 min from Port Ghalib by boat.
Difficulty: Easy, great for snorkeling
Snorkeling: Enjoy one of the unique chance to swim and snorkel with the dolphins in Sataya.
Distance: around 100 min from Port of Hamata by boat.
Difficulty: Just for snorkeling, easy bay
Snorkeling: Visit the small Hamata Island, feel the sand under your feet and snorkel along the surrounding stunning reef.
Distance: around 40 min from Port of Hamata by boat.
Difficulty: Just for snorkeling
