Welcome to our diving centre at the Hotel MB in El Quseir.
Dive into the hotel's own beautiful bay. You can access this diving paradise directly from the jetty. The zodiac will comfortably take you further afield or to the south side for a one-way dive. The speedboat will take you to more distant sites for one dive, as will the day boat for two dives. Whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or as a group, an experienced diver or just starting out, we will accompany you professionally on your diving adventure.

House Reef

You can reach our house reef comfortably via the jetty, where you can prepare yourself in peace. The tanks and weights await you conveniently at the jetty. Dive into the magnificent coral world in both a northerly and southerly direction.

Due to the sheltered location of the bay, diving is possible in almost all weather conditions.

Sharm Fugani, House reef

A magnificent bay with easy access, suitable for divers of all levels.

The north reef captivates with its biodiversity of various small and large blocks and a coral wall.

The south side is home to a large coral garden, alternating with small plateaus and blocks.

The bay is also ideal for snorkelling.

Sharm Fugani, Outer reef north

Let the Zodiac take you comfortably to the outer reef for a drift dive back to the bay. The reef drops to about 20m, where the sandbank comes after the drop off. In the corner there are many blocks to explore and on the way back there are many crevices with wonderful plays of light.

Let the Zodiac take you comfortably to the outer reef for a drift dive back to the bay and explore the southern side.

Half-day and full-day tours right on your doorstep

We reach the beautiful dive sites along the coast of El Quseir at short and further distances. By speedboat for 1 dive, by day boat for 2 dives.

The dive sites are suitable for all levels of diver, and some are also suitable for snorkelers.

The tours take place as advertised.

Sharm Tachtani

The neighbouring bay, where there are several opportunities to dive along the reefs.

Erg Lassal

A block that comes from about 25m to just below the surface. Beautifully overgrown with hard and soft corals, full of fish and very colourful. The dive can be rounded off at the top of the reef.
Distance: approx. 40 min. by boat
Difficulty: medium, can only be approached in good conditions

Erg Monika

A long block with a maximum depth of about 20 metres. Huge brain corals tower up, followed by beautiful coral gardens and small blocks on the sandy areas.
Distance: about 45 minutes by boat
Difficulty: easy

Maheleg

A steep reef with a small, fish-rich cove in the middle near the jetty. Heading north, you will dive through many coral gardens, while heading south you can swim around a wonderfully coloured block.
The reef drops to about 30m, where there is a sandbank before the drop-off.
Distance: approx. 15 min. by boat
Difficulty: easy to moderate

Zerib Kebir explore the caves

Dive site : Big bay with easy entry. Sand lope
which drops off to 40 m. On both side beautiful
coral gardens. A rope helps to enter and exit
this place. If you are interested in caves, this is a
perfect dive site for you.

Distance : Around 15 min in south of Quseir

Difficulty : Easy dive site. Perfect for snorkeling.

Zerib Soraya meet the Anemones

Dive site : Entry over the reef top through
small channels leading to a beautiful coral garden and cave.

Distance : Around 15 min in south of Quseir

Difficulty : Middle, not for snorkeling

Marine life : Beautiful anemone garden

Soug Bohar dive into coral gardens

Dive site : Entry, which leads through a canyon
to a coral reef. Beautiful reef especially in the
south with a nice coral garden. A rope helps
to enter and exit this place.

Distance : Around 20 min in south of Quseir

Difficulty : Middle, not for snorkeling.

Marina life : Some caves, big coral garden, sandeals

Abu Sawatir find the fire Anemone

Dive site : Bay with sandy entry. The sandy
bottom is slow down going until 40 m on both
sides are coral gardens until 30 m. A rope
helps to enter and exit the dive site if there is a current.
On a pinacle there is a fire Anemone.

Distance : Around 10 min in north of Quseir

Difficulty : Easy, good for snorkeling

Bet Goha dive the canyon

Dive site : The entry is on the reef top in a big
hole, followed by a labyrinth of canyons and
channels. Beautiful coral garden outside.

Distance : Around 20 min to north of Quseir

Difficulty : Middle, not for snorkeling

Abu Dabab Beach meet the turtles

Dive site: Large bay, with easy accesses. The dive site slopes gently down to 25 meters. The seagrass meadows are home to a population of large sea turtles. With luck there is also a chance of seeing dugongs, rays and dolphins. There is a reef at the northern and southern end.

Distance: Around 30 min away from Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam

Difficulty: Easy dive site. Perfect for snorkeling.

Day boat trips
Spend a day on a boat, do two dives and enjoy an excellent lunch. The dive sites are suitable for all levels of diver and most are also suitable for snorkelers. The diving trips start from Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam and Hamata.

Elphinstone home of Longimanus

Dive site : The famous reef upcoming from
the depth with many wonderful corals.
Max diving depth according to dive level max 40 m.

Distance : Around 120 min in south
of Port Ghalib

Difficulty : Only for experienced divers
with AOWD and minimum 50 logged dives, buoy required.

Marsa Mubarak and the dugong

Dive site : Big bay with seagrass.
Starting from the shallow to a depth of
max 25 m, due to the shallow water.
Good light and strong colours of the marine life. With luck you will meet the dugong there

Distance : Around 15 min in south
of Port Ghalib

Difficulty : Easy dive site.
Perfect for snorkeling

Sataya and its dolphins

Snorkeling: Enjoy one of the unique chance to swim and snorkel with the dolphins in Sataya.

Distance: around 100 min from Port of Hamata by boat.

Difficulty: Just for snorkeling, easy bay

Hamata the small island

Snorkeling: Visit the small Hamata Island, feel the sand under your feet and snorkel along the surrounding stunning reef.

Distance: around 40 min from Port of Hamata by boat.

Difficulty: Just for snorkeling

Salem Express

Dive site: The wreck lies at a depth of 11 to 32 metres and is still very well preserved from the outside and beautifully overgrown with corals and lots of marine life on it. Depending on the situation, it is allowed to dive in the hold. Here you dive in a place that demands great respect.

Distance: about 70 min from Safaga by boat

Difficulty: medium depending on the current, not suitable for snorkelers.
